COMPATRIOT INNARDS EXPOSED

The conspicuously brilliant Compatriot Product Development Team is thrilled to explain the mystery of our product quality as a series of media releases. This should help address the question we often receive, “What is it that makes a Compatriot Snowboard ride so ultimately dreamy?” Compatriot Snowboards are unique, and we are proud of that.

First of all, raw materials and finished-product superiority is the most important factor to us as a fresh company in our sophomore year. A good ride is only as good as the materials used to build it. RealRider Craftsmanship is equally important, which is why we choose to build our boards by hand, as opposed to mass-producing them using overseas robots. This obviously equates to a higher-end product.

Compatriot's philosophy is that there is wisdom in classic snowboard construction. We try to maintain a perfect balance of advanced technology and time-proven construction methods. Compatriot Snowboards are constructed one-by-one using topshelf materials and are designed to withstand abuse, performing unlike any other snowboard. Your mom was right, it is what’s inside that counts.

So, once and for all, here is the real story of our performance…

core

The Core
WHAT THEY USE: Crappy wood, sometimes even foam or inferior synthetic materials.
WHAT WE USE: Cowboy Core(TM) - The Cowboy Core is a multidensity, full wood core that has been custom milled to be lightweight, strong, and stay consistently lively in all the right places. With different densities in key areas (such as under the bindings), this core will respond with precision. Do you like light snowboards? So do we. To address this, we use a complex UV Process to extract moisture content from the wood prior to pressing the board. This is a longer and more costly process, but helps the core to remain noticeably light, avoid warpage, and maintain camber memory. Pretty cool, huh?

knucksand

Sidewalls
WHAT THEY USE: As mentioned above, some companies eliminate the important sidewalls by using a cap construction pattern. If they DO use sidewalls, they are often a fragile yet hard plastic called ABS, or other rigid plastics.
WHAT WE USE: Knuckle Sandwich(TM) Sintered P-Tex Sidewalls. Sintered p-tex is an excellent sidewall material that dampens the feel of the snowboard and preserves bomber edge hold at high speeds. Demand the high-quality and ease of repair that only sintered p-tex sidewalls can provide. Don’t you want a good old-fashioned Knuckle Sandwich?

Sounds good but

How about a little employee expose because if I had to guess I am pretty sure 90% of any company I can imagine who makes their own snowboarders, and is RUN buy the snowboarders might have a few employees which have special medical requirements involving clubs and other special needs... just saying...

How about a brief rundown of who brings Compariot to life everyday?

Great Idea...
