'Sup everyone. Willie told

'Sup everyone. Willie told me ya'll were plannin' a hootananny. If'm ya'll don't mind i'd sure like to attend. I can supply atv's dirtbikes and moonshine. I sold Ray my guns, but I'll probably have a few new ones by then. I'm living down in Tennessee outside Nashvile slinging iron for Polaris. I sold out, complete with a wife, new baby and mortgage in the suburbs. Skate once in a while and snowboard a couple of times a year. Mostly ride MX and now I'm really into ATV Mud bogs and dragracing. I got me one four wheeler with a Big Foot Kit and nitrous on it. I'm also an expert in camo patterns. Our company is sponsored by Mossy Oak. If any one wears Realtree to the reunion, that'll be considered fightn' words
I was diggin' through my shit the other day and found a green 1rst year Johhny Quest graphic new in the plastic. Plus I'm still riding my white Bubbles cap topsheet. And I got a few packs of Peterbolts lying around. Anyone up for a 26" stance, with -5/+5 angles.
My work e-mail is nick.zierden@polarisind.com
drop me aline if you are really gonna do this. Or if you find yourself in Tennesse in need of bail money.

RED BULL GRANT

you think redbull will cover the skatelight? not sure if 40-below ptex is gonna cut it for ramp surface.

Big Fish ramp...

You know the ramp is skateable, and in sombodys basement in Breck, right? I skated it a couple of years ago. This dude started his foundation, moved the ramp in and then buillt the house on top. It's good. I talk with Jake from Big Fish every once in a while. He can always get us in. Let's skate that bitch.

SMFG: What's up all??!! We

SMFG: What's up all??!! We would definitly make the trip. Those were good days, good to know you are all still kickin. We're down in South Florida and see Ben Steele, Brandy, Makaira, Pat Doyle and that booterman guy. Don't think anyone else makes it south of the border.

Fight for the little guy - Read SNOWBOARD Magazine!

I'll be there...

For sure Pancho, it is Rankin who is going to be the toughest nut to crack. Just don't invite Alan Bird, he will just be mad and try to start fights.

Will the dress code at the party be Tyvek suits only?

Jonny B.

tyvek

I think I still have a tyvek and some saftey glasses.

beer is coming out of my nose just thinking about it.

When?

Gordon,

What's the date of that shit? Let's get together and do this! Call up: 503.703.6545

WE NEED BIRD THERE

Jon if he fights - fight that muther trucker back.
not sure how that will go though that fucker can scrap

ray get bird to come out if you can.

GET THOSE ADDRESSES

Steaks,

wanna get a beer and plan this out soon?
If we get the ball rolling we'll probably be able to find everyone.

Send out emails to everyone you know.

we could even do it in late spring. What do we care???

After party?

There will be an afterparty at the Brown Burro.

Brown Burro

The Brown Burro is for sale right now.
Maybe we should just buy it and order some tyvek suits and make boards out of there.
Do you think Hippy Dave would come back and make edges if we paid him in burritos?

Gordon, let's do this

I am in VT for the next few days, but then let's get together and nail this shit. Mid next week? Let's close the deal. Springtime.

I'd be interested. I worked

I'd be interested. I worked in pressing with Mark P. and the crazy guy Dave. I filled Kendal's vacancy.

Hey Coulter, what's going on?

Crazy guy Dave

It's green! Go on..smell it.

Fight for the little guy - Read SNOWBOARD Magazine!

What can brown do for you?

Every payday Dave would be peddling away, and planning on a good ol evening at the Park Bar. "Hee he, go on now...break it up and smell..smell like green don't it".

Jonny B.

Saw macs car in fairplay two yers ago ....not sure could have sold it but i think they are probably round.

Also saw that old german man fritz that pawned off my personal collection of boards - Prick (not invited).

Might need to post some flyers in fairplay to track down some of the critters.

What's up? Coulter here...

Just hanging in PDX, still riding my skateboard and snowboard. Playing a lot of video games, surfing some. Flying helicopters and working at Nike in R&D. It's cool. PDX is rad. What's up with you? Good to hear from you. Let's do this reunion shit...

i am moving to fairplay to start a bunny ranch for this re-union...then again, i hope snowboard mag covers this historical carnie-festus for me and all the other readers of snowboard magazine.

ps-i am dronk.

LJJ,

How I wish CK could be there. FYI - Booterman and I watched "Mirror, Mirror" (a classic Star Trek episode) with him at the Burton house in Tahoe Donner. He is my hero.

It would be cool for the bash to be covered by the mag, a group shot in the center fold would be a thing of legends.

Jonny B.

///

when i think centerfold, i don't really envison a bunch of dirty year olds holding pbr cans up in the air in a toast to the 'good old days'.

i do think it would be great to have that reunion covered-as in when solid started, who started it, who were they loyal employees, the board lines (solid and future) and where the hell is everyone that was part of the family now...with a centerfold shot of a girl nestled between the article.

how's the fishing coming along? i've been working my ass of lately (which equates to about 40 hrs a month...i need a vacation).

Craig Kelly Forever.

Fishing is on fire.....

Here in Nor Cal. Fall is the best time of year, if only it could be like this all year long. Lake Davis is fishing well despite the pike problem, fish are in the shallows in 2-5 feet of water eating snails. My best day has been 16 fish so far, 3-5 pounds, all rainbows. They fight like misssles named Kurt, and put on a great ariel display. Eagle lake is fishing well as is the Pit, McCloud, Upper Sac, Hat, Truckee, NF of the Feather, MF of the Feather (my home), and many others. Get time off and book a flight to Reno, I'll pick your arse up and get you into trout if need be.

Jonny B.

For sure

The days of Solid in Fairplay where a little before my time, but not totally. I was 12 or 13 living in Durango. I was definetly shredding, and remember looking up to the local rippers of that time like Mike May and Dave Conrad, both sponsored Solid riders. I even bought that "Green Spider" deck from Dave Conrad. T-bolded and all! Man that was a cool board at the time. Very interesting shape, and the Baseless binding I got to go with it.......ah man the good old days. Everything has come a long way, and would be stoked to attend such a historic event! whoa whoa whoa. I think I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself. It's kinda hard to go to a reunion to something you didn't once belong to, man I'm an idiot. That reminds me of this movie I want to make called Reunion crashers, and these two guys go around to all the class reunions an crash em......wait a minute!

Long Live MIke May

I saw Mike just at the begening of last winter at Wolf Creek, Still killing it! Dodds I didnt know you were from DGO? SOLID did kick ass.

!!!SHOP @ RADIO!!!

yea, those were the good old

yea, those were the good old days for sure. I owe so much to guys like Mike May, Dave Conrad and Michelle Monson, for where I am today. With out their inspiration, I probably would have gone to college and had a real job by now, not that photography isn't a real job, but man I can't say thanks enough (kids, don't get the idea that college is bad, it just happened to work out for me, not going). Yup, I moved to durango back in 91'. moved away in 99'. I wish I still had that Solid deck though. Hopefully Wolf Creek wil get some snow soon too......it's starting to kill me!

We got pockets o snow

Oh, Monson and Conrad! Taking it back son... Did you ever know kids named Dave Weber, Jesse G, Mishker, Josh Potter, whatevas...
Yah, I cant wait for the WC and Silverton to open. Shit man for that matter even Purg! TRIDE just got hit pretty good from this last storm. They have definitly been most consistant this winter for storm patterns. We got pockets o snow up in this joint. Hittin up Copper on friday.

!!!SHOP @ RADIO!!!

out of the woodwork

this is great!
I'm making a list and checking it twice.
Should we just kill 2 birds and go ladies run weekend?
rg

Any date set?

Ray,

What time of year are you lookin at? Do we center it around freshies and nubs, or Summer when I can bring the rv and really have fun. I think we need to nip this in the bud asap so we can plan an attack on the booze, food, and the carryin on and such.

Just think if we had the tools and materials to come back to, and lay up some boards. I know I've got enough of my best finish guys to show up, ......Go Weaver, kick that board's ass!

You would have fit right in with Solid's covert board mfg during the final days. Neil Sr. advised we get hay bales and camo netting for the front and sides of the building, we did and gave Mac a $5000 amount to stock up on weapons kept in a safe in the press room. Neil and Kurt preped edges and layed up the boards, Mac Daddy handled the presses while, a team effort in the finish room directed by myself with special consulting from Foytho and Kooch finished the product. That was so fun!

Let me know............

Jonny B.

sorry to interrupt but does anyone have a solid or future deck that they would like to sell? i need some really good wall art?
