2006 snowboard setup

I am looking to purchase a new board for this season and want to make sure i am getting the best board i can and was hoping you could give me some suggestions on 2006 boards. I have been riding on the same board for a few years and want a change. I am looking for a freestyle board, but want it to be good on all terrain if i take it out of the park. I was thinking it would help my switch riding to get a board with twin design, mine now is directional, but i dont know how important twin is, what do you think? Also i definately want sidewall, and a pretty flexible board with good pop (maybe a board with carbon stringers). i was looking at the gnu danny kass, what is your opinion on that board? I have burton mission bindings, and just need a board now, what do you think would be good for me to ride this season. Thanks for your help in this decision.

Many

boards fit that description. Aside from the twin/directional thing, either board will ride well backwards, what you really need to do is pick the size and go from there. Check out the Test Run: Jib boards story in Issue 2.1, and the Test Run: Tech Boards story in Issue 2.3 for more info on all the new boards. And the Gnu Danny Kass is sick.

For size i want to go with a 153 or 154, but some boards i am looking at, like the unity origin jumps from 152 to 155, should i go bigger or smaller, i am on a 152 and wanted to go a little bigger because i thought it would make landing jumps more stable. besides the unity i was also looking at the rome artifact. between those 2 and the gnu, which is the best quality board that will last the longest and perform the best. And I have size 9 feet so i dont need a wide.

Santa Cruz

I rode a Santa Cruz TT Revolver last year and it was awsome. Through warranty I got the new Seth Hout TT board and it is even flexier then last years TT. Plus it got awarded a top ten good wood award by transworld. Might be worth checking out.

i have size 12 shoes and i dont run a wide board... i have no problems with toe drag due to my stance
