Alpha-6 Distributions, LLC, exclusive distributor of Allyance branded apparel and
accessories, was recently acquired by an undisclosed group of highly sophisticated and
well financed action sports enthusiasts known only as, The Allyance.
This new group, consisting partially of what are said to be some A-6 and Allyance
co-founders, acquired the company to control the Allyance products distribution so that
they could take the brand to the next level. The Allyance has invested a significant
amount of time, money and other resources into providing the company with a larger and
more significant corporate infrastructure paving the way to make ALLYANCE the
number one brand in action sports.
“ I would like to thank all of the retailers that supported Allyance and myself. It
is your support that made this brand a success. I took Allyance to where it is today and
now its time for someone else to take it further,” says Brandon Dodd, founder of
Allyance.
An unnamed Allyance source stated, “It’s a compliment to Brandon that he was
able to take the brand so far so fast. For that reason, it now needs the much larger
operation, funding and experience that we can provide. Where Brandon is no longer
going to be a part of Alpha -6 and the Allyance brand, our relationship is far from over.
He will be staying on for a transitional period and we will be looking forward to working
with him on many future endeavors.”
The Allyance will be moving the operational and financial backend of the
company to New York, while maintaining and growing the design, merchandising,
branding and new product development departments in southern California. These
departments will continue to be led by industry vet, Dale Rehberg.
