East Coast Invitational 2005

Alota people had to drive through some shitty ass weather this weekend to get down to the eastcoast invitational at Wachusett. S.C.O.T.T. Dubs was guest emceeing on his B-day and held it down with some jittery freestyles. Some super cop 15yr old lifty caught me clipping skys ticket and we were almost arested and were forced to pay mad loot, but karmas comin to that kid so its all good.
Qualifers: Everyone killed it. Tyler Lynch, Sky Gale Chris Grenier, Nico Cofi and Grham Hoffman (spelled wrong) qualified for the amateurs on Friday night. Grenier throwing down a fucking sick switch front board back 270 out on the down flat down to get 1st and invite to Vail Session, while Sky did 270 to sw frontboard on the down flat down change up 180 to board on the last down for best trick, some real eddie wall type shit.
Finals: Lotta hot bitches lingering around. The grils were stepping it up, don't really know names cause were super sexist but Kara Mukina the Canadian chick that won and many others. The Canadian Rome doggies showed up late missing pratice, but still desroyed everything. LNP had steezy presses on the DFD, Yan was frontsiding it and Max cosistant with some hard way to 270 out shit on the down rail. Nico and Magoon were ripping, Nico had gap lip two-sev out on the DFD that was the main feature of the night. Scott Stevens was getting funky and creative with some Michael Jackson toe stuff and front of the down box bonk sw tailpress 270 out or someshit. Leggee gap hardway 270 the dfd and back 180 sw NP 180 out on the down rail, then he tried back 180 INTO the DFD (NUTTY) For diggers, Russel Collins took a bad one that sent him front flipping over the entire down flat down, Sky Gale got banged on that rail, spending the rest of the night sipping out of a glove and stoking everyone else out in Greniers big coat.
Lane Knaack was really smooothe, killing it with some press to tail bonk 180 out stuff back lips, smoothe and tail press to nose press 180 out on the DFD i dont even know but it was real nice.
In the end it came down to Lincoln Boy Yale Cousino coming out strong in the finals with consisantcy (sp) and cool wigger tricks like cab hardway 180 into the DFD, gap back two-sev, cab hardway 270 onto the down rail. Yale brought home the 8G's with Knaacks gnarlyness nabbing second for 2 grand. Holla a my Balls!
Don't have the right hooks ups for Alexis's camera (check out Disciplemag.com and the new mag for Sky, Yale and Legges press among others) so theres no riding shots but whatever. Coming home some italitaians hopped up on blow tried cut us off so we caught up to em, and it ended with some jacked mass guy telling Sheeple T.M. Halsey that he was going to "Cut his guts out", and the cops getting called on us.
