Things have been hectic back at eesa HQ as we gear up for the January brand launch at the SIA show in Las Vegas, so hectic in-fact that we asked the team one simple question,
"Why are you stoked on eesa?"
Lukas Huffman: because... new is good and change is better, eesa is responsible for both.
Kurt Wastell: because they are keeping me super warm in the harsh cold and super styled as well.
Chris Coulter: because eesa gets the riders involved and that's going to show in our product.
Dom Vallee: I'm stoked on eesa cause for once I can be wearing really good looking first layers and lounge in them in the morning and after riding. For the first time you'll hear "hey! Those are nice socks" and "what shirt is that?" It was about time I think........cause you spend how much time a year in your ugly long-johns?
Jake Blauvelt: I'm stoked on eesa because there's good people on the company that are down for the cause. Also because there is no other company like it, and lastly,
cause the home base is my hometown "TWAT REPRESENT!!" (EDIT: TWAT stands for Waterbury, VT, we're not sure how Jake came up with the word TWAT, but we think he put a capital T in front of WAT, which would be short for Waterbury. You should ask him).
Jon Cartwright: I AM STOKED ON EESA BECAUSE - THEY GOT POP.
JP Tomich I am stoked on eesa because they realize the step of fashion and function in the snowboard industry. They bring a different feel to the way you put your base layer on. You feel good knowing you are going to stay dry and warm throughout the day. Yay!
Ali Goulet: the concept is hella fresh.
Max Legendre: cause my after riding gonna have lot more style.
Yan Dofin: they make stylish and confit gear!!!!!! (EDIT: We think Yan means comfortable but he's from Quebec and he might mean confit, which might be like Putin, we have no idea what either are, but we hope it's something good though).
Other team schralps include: Annie Boulanger, Jesse Fox, Travis Kennedy, Casey Neefus, Lukas Magoon and Jaqui Berg. Who at press time were traveling and did not have access to e-mail in their exotic snow locations, something about dial-up or something, we don't know.
Isn't it EESA?
