To the "Elitist Four"

We can win medals for our country, but we cannot ride at your shrines (Alta, Deer Valley, Mad River Glenn and Taos) in 2006.

How do we become good enough for you, so that we can become as privelaged and entitled to ride in your ever so sacred country clubs with our families and friends?

I propose the following:
We, the community of snowboard-mag.com, bring Shaun and Danny with their medals to an organized protest ride at one of the Elitist 4. Steps for success:

1) Set date – March 11, 2006
2) All participants sign up on a special protest sign up forum on snowboard-mag.com
3) Send money to a Paypal account for the lift tickets
4) Submit order for lift tickets-receive tickets and send confirmation out via protest signup form
5) Set pre ride meet location for distribution of passes and breakfast (prison food sucks)
6) Arrive in a huge snowboarding hoard with Shaun and Danny leading us like warriors to the lift
7a) Ride the hill stoked because we have extinguished one the many fires of discrimination
7b) Everyone gets arrested for the ever horrible crime of snowboarding (or Trespassing depending on perspective)
8b) Call NAACP for lawyers and bail
9b) Call Press and tell them their beloved 'Flying ''Golden'' Tomato' was arrested for snowboarding at one of the Elitist Four with 150 of his closest friends including silver medalist Danny Kiss
10) Elitist four open doors with open arms and all live happily ever after.

i'm all for it. especially mad river - unique terrain for the east...cliffs, trees. no grooming, so you've got to shred icy bumps on the trails.

but you can't really compare this to racial discrimination...the naacp will laugh!
