How do you know that? where can I find proof? i've been looking for it (proof) since I saw your post but havent found any... not that i don't believe you... Those are the 2 best board companies out there so no wonder they have a lot to do with each other...
I wouldn't necessarily say 'one of the two best companies' but I have had only good experience with Forum boards. They are thougher than most other boards I have owned, the I-Lock mounting system works great and is reliable and my last 2 seasons on a Peter Line has been great. I might try something different next but I think they make good boards. And other Forum and Jeenyus boards owners I know are happy with their boards too. To each is own I guess.
For the records, I wouldn't put Burton in the 'one of the two best companies' either...
The first generation I-Lock was craptacular. The inserts stripped super easily and they had issues with sliding or popping off the board. I had a few friends who went through 3 or 4 boards on warranty in the first few seasons of the I-Lock. The newer stuff seams solid enough, one of the guys I ride with has been riding his hard for 2 seasons now and it's held the test of time.
the only thing that sold/sells those crappy forum boardss is the team. a sliding binding mount system with a poor end sidewall noodle constrution.
Shredd on, Shredd off.
I have been riding on a Forum Peter Line for the last 2 years and liked the board a lot, maybe a bit too stiff but it handles well almost anywhere, in any condition. It has held up quite nicely to the abuse too. I just recently crushed the base a bit (it's feelable with my fingers but otherwise unoticable) but I would have damaged any board I think... I was surprised that it didn't break in half or that the edge didn't crap out from the impact. I too will get something else next season... not because I'm not happy with Forum, just to try something else.
Rome boards have a very good reputation and are loved by the people who ride them. Option, I don't know. I will myself get a Lib Tech...

Nice!
Nice bindings! Now that they are owned by Burton, they can use the capstrap which is a big plus in my opinion.

Two best board companies? I
Two best board companies? I could contest that, but I'll just provide the link (when in doubt, Google!). It happened nearly two years ago:
