the cu snowboard team is gay. always has been and always will be. for the most part it's just a bunch of kids who can't snowboard from the chicago burbs who's parents were willing to pay for a club their dumb cu student can belong to. and yes, i went to CU (and graduated) so I know what i'm talking about.
at least they are putting on a not so crappy event. to be honest i may even go.

it costs a ton of money and they dont do shit, except use the money for a big cash prize at a contest that noone on cust will win, because the ex-pros will invite a bunch of decent riders to try to jump-start there careers.
The Custy's do suck though. It's sad, but the girls on the CUST are really the joke. I did enjoy watching the event from my roof when I lived in Boulder. Satellite boardshop is owned by some cool guys too, their A-Team van is baddass.
