I'm a person who was born in the wrong place, but the chain of events in my life was a fortunate one, leading to my encounter with snowboarding just in time, when I was about thirteen years old. I was born in Brazil, a country where snow is an unknown word for the majority of the population. I lived three years in Michigan, where I started boarding, and at 15, when I came back to Brazil, I had to start trying to get by with only a week or two's worth of snow a year. Nowadays it's becoming unbearable.
