BEEN IN SO CAL FOR MOST ALL MY LIFE (SINCE 4YRS OLD), BUT BORN IN MAINE, SO MY BODY YEARNS FOR THE COLD AND SNOW. COME FROM A CORE SKI FAMILY, SO POPS HAD ME ON SKIS AND DOING LOLIIPOP RACES AT 2. SO DID THAT GIG TILL I WAS AROUND 12/13. A FAMILY FRIEND GOT ME OUT ON A SHRED STICK AT SNOW VALLEY IN '91/'92, I PICKED IT UP SUPER QUICK (SURFING, SKATE BACKGROUND), AND THAT WAS THE END OF IT. JUST HOOKED. I TRY TO GET OUT AND RIDE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE LOCALLY DURING THE SEASON, BUT I REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING UP TO RED MTN. B.C. WHERE MY PARENTS HAVE A PLACE. B.C. IS AMAZING. SO, LIKE MOST OF US, I JUST TWIDDLE MY THUMBS, BITE MY FINGERNAILS, AND FLIP THROUGH BACK ISSUES OF MAGS UNTIL THE NEXT SEASON.

Because of ssnowboarding I left everything I knew and gavee everything I had. I grew up on the southshore of Montreal, skied in the eastern townships, in Jay peaks or on the Northshore every week-ends. I moved in Bromont when I was a teenager and was lucky enough to live at a walking ddistance from a chairlift that was running until 9:30 pm every night. I finished school, did some cegep and finally gave it all up to get more riding going. I moved to Lake Louise, AB. Lived in Field, BC, Golden BC and at the Lake. Was riding mostly Louise and Kicking Horse. I finally movedd in the Kootenays and settled here for a few years. I live in Rossland, BC, Ride Red Mountain, but I now work in Nelson, and will probably buy a pass at White Water this winter.
I Have been working in snowboard retail since summer 2000.

I have been snowboarding since winter 1995-96. I come from Quebec, have skied all my life and moved in Western Canada 6 years ago for the powder. I lived in Lake Louise, Golden and now live in the Kootenays ; Rossland, B.C. (Red Mountain).
I have been working in snowboard retail since 1999.
I did horticulture and fashion, design, merchandising in school.
Now, I want to write in magazines as a freelance journalist.

In all honesty, I love to get righteously stoned, write and watch movies. Anything goes after that, especially barefoot tennis. I also love to get stoned and play golf as well.
