Midwesterner headed (North)west...I hope I'm not in for the Grapes of Wrath treatment. A few seasons in the Cascades and I want more, but first I have to get done with that little thing called college (the PhD kind). Snowboarding started for me on a black snow on the South Shore--of Lake Erie. After a few years off in an attempt to become Dan Gable, I have a wrecked spinal column and a lust for the steep and deep.

I'm a crossover! I have my level 3 alpine and have been working on getting certified through AASI. I enjoy snowboarding with my husband and friends, and can't wait to get to Whistler this year!

I grew up in the small town of Blackfoot Idaho, and moved out to Seattle August of 2003 to attend the Art Institute of Seattle for video production/Editing. I have been snowboarding and skateboarding full time for about 6-7 years, but have skied my entire life. I have dedicated most of my time to the snow and to snowboarding, either filming it or riding it. I am currently sponsored by:
Atomic Snowboards, Allyance Winter Architype, Smith Optics, Drop, Giro Helmets, Summit at Snoqualmie, and Barrie’s Sports. My future plans are variable, I plan to graduate from the Art Institute in the summer of 2006, and as a career goes it is up in the air at the moment. As for snowboarding, I plan to keep on having fun riding, filming, and competing.
