The 3rd Annual SESSIONS Lumberjack Log Jam went down at Squaw Valley on Saturday March 22nd, under blue skies and a packed Easter Weekend crowd. The course was mellow and fun, and the Squaw Valley crew made sure everything was in top form for all the riders. They even added in some unique Log features to stay in tune with the theme of the contest. Some serious riding went down and everyone had a good time!

Sessions Second Annual Lumberjack Log Jam Wrap Up

March 26, 2007 - Sessions’ 2nd Annual Lumberjack Log Jam went down this weekend (Saturday, March 24th) at Heavenly Resort in South Lake Tahoe.

Mother Nature gave us a beautiful sunny day which made for an awesome day of spectating and competing! Registration for the event was FULL by Friday afternoon and we had people begging to allow just ONE more in the event.

If it weren’t for the unfortunate accident of a pre-registered contestant (who was rumored to have broken his hip), our 1st Place Winner for the Snowboarding segment - Chas Guldemond, would not have been allowed into the event. What a crazy twist of fate on his part, finding his lucky ticket into the event and bringing with him all of the determination and mad skills to bring home the Grand Prize for the Snowboarding segment! Chas took home the Pitster Pro Mini Bike and his Gold Embroided New Era cap, not to mention other killer prizes from Sessions, Skullcandy, Dragon, Electric and more.

He wasn’t the only one to walk away with a sick prize package - Zak Hale, the defending champion from last year’s Log Jam and Sessions own team rider, took 2nd place for the Snowboarding segment and scored a travel bag from Ogio filled with a ton of goodies from our sponsors.

On the ski side, Ben Schmitt proved his endurance and skills with big airs and 360’s all day long! Ben walked away with 1st Place for the Ski segment and a sick new audio system from Kicker along with several other prizes from our sponsors!

Sessions to Incorporate d3o Tech for 2007/08 Line

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (January 16, 2007) – Sessions and d3o designers have teamed up, developing new products for the Snow 08 season in its Diffusion first layer program. Once again Sessions has worked to incorporate industry firsts in the snowboard market by providing d3o’s optimal comfort and style while also offering maximum injury protection.

d3o’s unique composition makes it the ideal material for use in snowboard and ski wear. d3o contains intelligent molecules that flow with you as you move but lock together on impact, absorbing the impact’s energy. Under normal conditions d3o is soft and pliable, but on impact the material reacts instantly providing a shock absorbing platform. d3o is flexible and lightweight, yet rivals all conventional protective materials making it a great addition to Sessions first layer garments.

Sessions has great Customer Service

So... i have this sessions hoodie and it has an "iPod" pocket. So I put my iPod in the so called iPod pocket and needless to say the iPod fell out. So I called sessions up to give them some feedback about their product and they were all like thanks for the feedback it sucks you lost your iPod... I'll tell you what... not that it will make up for loosing an ipod but find some stuff on the site you like and i will send you some stuff... 3 days later I had a package with 4 shirts in it....

I was pretty stoked.... they were great... and they were right it didn't make up for the iPod but... hey they tried to rectify the problem... needless to say I will definately buy their shit again....

Boznutz is Back—and on Sessions

Word has it that Nate Bozung inked a deal with Sessions yesterday. We are all stoked for the Nutz and working with Joel and thhe crew at Sessions will be awesome for Nate.

SESSIONS is pleased to welcome the internationally infamous Nate Bozung, a.k.a. “Boznuts” to the family!

You all know who he is, so we will keep this short!

After realizing that he still really loves to snowboard and can pretty much hang with anyone on anything, Nate has strapped it on and stepped it up this season. He splits his time between Utah and California, and has been spending many nights crashing at Mikeys, after long days of filming for “BozWreck”, a film he is putting together with fellow shred Matty Ryan. SESSIONS is a proud sponsor and you should go check out the teasers at www.bozwreck.com!

Sessions Integrates RECCO® at all Levels for Winter '07

Ninety percent of next season's styles to be equipped with RECCO® reflectors

SANTA CRUZ (Jan. 16, 2006)–With deep roots in skateboarding, snowboarding and punk rock, Sessions has always led the way. The California-based brand has been an early adopter of everything from Gore-Tex® fabric and freeskiing culture to the RECCO® avalanche rescue system. Sticking with the same open-minded attitude that has defined the company since day one, Sessions will become the first core brand to integrate RECCO® reflectors into a complete range of outerwear styles with their 2006-'07 line.

"We were the first snowboard brand to have RECCO in outerwear and now we will offer it on 90 percent of our line," says Joel Gomez, Sessions founder and CEO. "It wasn't an easy decision, but the reason we decided to do it was it's only a matter of time before all brands will have RECCO and all brands will have RECCO in at least 80 percent of their line. At Sessions we try to be a leader, not a follower."
