Questions for SNOWBOARD staff

Sole unit technology? What should I look for if anything?

Does anyone pay much attention to this stuff? If so, what sole unit (midsole/outsole) characteristics (cushioning, stability, traction, light, heavy, shock absorbing, customizable) are best for each type of riding? Is there anything wrong with the soles of your boot that you wish you could change? This would be helpful to know!

New Board?

Im 6'1" 180lbs and have a size 12 boot. Im looking for a new park board this season. I was trying to figure out if I want a Lib, Signal or a Burton. Any ideas?

Rome machine or artifact?

Is it true that Rome machine and artifact are both good for jibs and the only difference is their width? I like buttering and looking for a board that is better of of the two for buttering! I have size 12 feet.

Uninformed and in need of help

I found a Ride 156 board at a pawn shop that i can get w/ bindings for only 99$.i thought that the 156cm was pertaining to the width not the length. Shows you i dont know a damn thing bout boarding. haha. But when i measured the width it came out to be 156cm. u think it could have been just a coincedence? also 156cm does stand for centimeters right? If not, what are they measured in. Last question, since i have size 13 feet what would a good width on a board be? If my toes already hang over the edge in sneakers will it be waaay worse in boots?
Thanks for any input you have for me

Size 13 foot. 156 board way too small? Help me out

I am 6'1" 180lbs and wear a size 13 boot and have only snowboarded once. I found a really nice board at a pawnshop near my house. It is a Ride 156 board(in good shape) with a pair of large bindings(in good shape) and a board bag. All of that for only 99$ I will probably only use it once-twice a year since i live in North Carolina and we dont get alot of snow. Is that board just way too small for me even if i only use it a couple times a year? I also know of a 159 ride board. Would 3 cm make that big of a difference? Any input would be awesome.
Thanks

Mid-Wide Board and size 13 Boots

If you wear a size 13 boot, can you still ride a mid-wide board without any toe or heel drag?

i am a newb.

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what snap, pop, and pow meant. I think pow means powder, but I'm not sure about the other two. I've heard it used quite a bit. Thanks. (BTW i tried searching, but there are too many articles referring to them).

cracked my board

Hey i landed on the nose of my board pretty hard landing an ugly 540 and cracked it all the way across. The crack is not all the way through the board and its still pretty stiff. The bottom of the board it fine. Is there anything I a can to to make it stronger? Epoxy or something? It would be nice to get through the rest or the season.

New Women's Board: Burton Feelgood ES or Arbor Push?

Hello,

I've been snowboarding for 10 years, am a snowboard instructor and consider myself advanced, and I am ready to upgrade my 154 K2 Luna. I'm interested in an advanced women's board and can't decide between the Burton Feelgood ES and Arbor Push. I'm looking for an all-mountain/freeride board for powder, backcountry runs, carving at high-speeds on groomers, and the occasional jump; I don't spend much time in the park or pipe and don't want something too flexible. I am 5'6" and 140 lbs.

I haven't been able to find a comparison between the Push and ES and would appreciate any suggestions and experiences people have had with the boards.
