What Type of wax do i need ?

i ride in Quebec (east coast) and i was looking to get some wax since im tired to get raped 25$ at the resort to make them wax the board for me. now my question is what type of wax do i need. i dont get it wet snow, dry snow, soy wax, flouro and all the other shit. i mean snow is snow if it aint powder its all the same shit ! so what kind do i need if i shred in eastern canada. do we have wetter snow ? or ours is dryer... ???
