Stoked to announce that we signed with Mark Edlund. Not much introduction needed for Mark with sick video parts in the Finger On The Trigger flicks. Mark's innovative riding and style fits Bataleon snowboards so well that a lot of good things will come from this in the near future !
Here's what Mark had to say after the first few days riding our Bataleon Triple Base boards!
Click Bataleon to check out the sort of new website.
We almost got ours done but the programmers are from New Zealand and they are just shredding powder as it's the best season ever down there! We should be live next week or soo...Now we are half live with the new site... check it out!
The Bataleon battalion was turning some heads this summer at the Camp of Champions in Whistler, Canada. Here is a little vid of what went down there.
Bataleon was represented in full force with Scandishreds Kalle Ohlson, Andy Gidlund, Gulli Gudmundson Eurorockers L’arrog and Tyler Chorlton complimented with part of the US crew Benny Rice, Tristan, Joel Fuquay and Josh Dwinal, topped off with local ripper Nic Heringa representing for Canada. All in all a pretty impressive bunch of riders slidin’ on triple bases.
Hope all is good just thought I would let you know what has been going on at Mt Hood.
Thing’s have been going well over here super hot and the park and pipe has been fun. We have been riding at the High Cascade Snowboard Camp which is awesome. They have a good setup on the hill and an insane skate park down in the town of Government Camp. Yesterday we had a day off and went to a Natural Spring 5-km from where we are staying. When we got to the Spring checked out the sign that said the water was 34’F which I think works out to be 1’C so it was bloody cold but still went in for a dip and ended up swimming around for a bit. It was soooo cold.
We did a LTD for New Zealand this winter. And when Bataleon say’s it’s LTD it really is LTD. With 50 boards produced it’s most likely the MOST LTD ever done. If you want something special, if you wanna be exclusive you gotta get this one. All the Bataleon goods inside and only available in a few selected NZ shops but we made 10 boards available for YOU GUYS !
I ride a bataleon snowboard and was wondering if anyone here has tried bataleon bindings. Are they good quality? Pros and cons? experience?
I ride union bindings but I think they are not doing it for me. Looking at bataleon bindings or flux.
Is the back on a bataleon binding a highback or regular? I am short and therefore I have short calves. The highback on my burton and union bindings do not feel solid. I think I need a binding with a regular back. Which binding companies out there still make bindings with regular sized or smaller backs?
JP has been shredding on Bataleon Snowboards most of the winter but at Bataleon we really like our team-riders to first take our boards featuring our patented Triple Base Technology, thru a solid test period before we sign the multi-million dollar contracts.
Bataleon scored a huge weekend at the 5-Star TTR competition Wängl Tängl!!!
I can’t explain with words how epic this weekend has been. Andy shows the snowboard world that he is a guy to watch out for in the future. Stomping a sick solid run on the kicker line starting out with a huge fs 1080, going into a big tweeked out bs 5, finishing with a rock solid switch bs 900. You are Mr. Stomp It All, Andy Gidlund!!! Not only does he win a ton of cash but also went home with a brand new Suzuki 250cc four stroke!
