Lake Tahoe, CA: Smokin Snowboards is proud to announce the 1st place finish of Andrew Brewer in the 4th Annual Jibassic Pro Invitational at Boreal Mountain Resort. Andrew ripped his way to first place competing against snowboardings top professionals in Lake Tahoe's winter kickoff, earning him $2000 and airline tickets from Southwest airlines. Throwing it down on all obstacles, Andrew was making it look easy in the one of the most tech and progressive rail jams of recent history. The terrain park crew at Boreal came in with a brand new banger stair case from SNOWBOARD Mag and Red Bull, as well as a public park with its own staircase and jibs on hill making it an amazing opening event. The day was perfect and the night turned out even better with one of Smokin Snowboards own taking it all home. Andrew also won $200 dollars in Fuel TV cash for best tricks on top of the two grand and the Southwest Airline Tickets giving him top honors of the evening.

Lake Tahoe, Ca: The guys at Smokin Snowboards have been working hard this summer getting all the new boards done and ready to be shredded this coming winter along with moving into a new, larger factory. Making it easier to make Tahoe's finest snowboard, Smokin Jay Quintin has moved the factory to a location twice as big as the previous. With enough room to grow and develop new tech and Smokin innovations, our new factory is going to facilitate the needs of our company in the coming years.

Lake Tahoe, CA - Smokin Jay Quintin opened up the factory while the mountains were still raging to make some custom M.I.P. Smokin Snowboards for the Air Blaster crew last week. We were stoked to have Travis, Jesse, Jonas, and Paul from Air Blaster come by and make their own shreds and see how it's done here at Smokin Snowboards. It was a rad day and everyone had a great time seeing what it takes to make Tahoe's finest snowboard.

Lake Tahoe, CA: The Smokin Snowboards crew is back in Tahoe after all the trade shows and demos ready to shred and enjoy the rest of winter. We have had such a great response to our new line of Magne-Traction Boards, so we are proud to offer a limited edition custom Minor In Possession with photos submitted by kids that work in various board shops. The M.I.P. is new for 2008 and it has a unique blunt tip and tail along with the flex that is perfect for jibbing your favorite rail park or stomping jumps with the Magne-Traction edges. Anyone who got to witness the M.I.P. knows it is 100 channels of twisted imagery straight out of the 80’s kid generation. We at Smokin are fully aware that shop kids spend a lot of time indoors left to stare into space pondering gnarly, senseless, crude, and obscene images during their hours of tending to smelly rental boots and arguments in snow snobbery.

Lake Tahoe, CA: Smokin Jay has been working hard in the factory getting ready for next season and we're excited to get out on the hill. This year we're making big moves with our new expanded team with the addition of legends of snowboarding, Mike Basich and Shawn Farmer. Thats right, Mikey B and The Fizz are on Lake Tahoe's finest wood. We've also added Shane “Rabbit” Grimes, Nik Batko, and Jen Wolf to our team with Scott Curtis, Andrew Brewer, Joe Fontaine, Dave King, Steven Brown, and Gabe Triplette. We have collected some of the sickest riders from Lake Tahoe, Mammoth, Utah, Oregon, and Minnesota to shred our boards this year.
