UnityUnity Snowboards searching for pow in VailThe season has been really slow to start here in Colorado. So, some of the Unity crew went on a search for some pow turns at Vail today. Vail is open with one super icy run. But, we hiked up to Game Creek Bowl today and actually found some nice powder in the shade of the trees on some runs. We didn't even hit any rocks or anything on the runs! It wasn't much but it was fun to get out there and feel it again. Then skated the Aspen park. Later the same day we went surfing in the Colorado River! With the big run off this summer there are some big standing waves that you can actually surf on! It was a sick and rare surf, skate, snow mission in Colorado.

Ruth Leisibach Wins the O'neill Xtreme 2007 on a Unity SnowboardSwiss snowboarder, Ruth Leisibach, has won the O'neill Xtreme Verbier 2007 freeride contest riding the new Unity 164 Pintail board. Ruth has now won the contest four times. This year makes it three times in a row! Ruth is from Luzern, Switzerland but lives out of her van during the winters in Verbier. Unity Dominion and PinTailDid anybody have a chance to ride Unity Dominion or PinTail? I'm interesting, how it rides and carves on hard pack? I know that a PinTail is powder board but why Jason Smith rode on it during Torino Olimpic Boardercross?
