That is right, on November 13th via Antarctica the scumdogs of the universe GWAR will be descending in on Bend, Oregon with a live performance at the premiere of Mack Dawg Productions new snowboard film Down With People Presented by K2 Snowboarding and Catapult Productions.

It’s election year again, and GWAR has captured our favorite politicians in between the senseless debates to take them on a bloody ride, and a craptacular mashup of a tour. Sleazy P Martini (GWAR Manager) has even come out of semi - retirement of managing the entire porn industry to make sure that this will be the squarest test of American presidential metal he can rig. Clinton and Obama are sure to be to be tortured at the hands of Oderus and Bone Snapper, and McCain mcskinned. All three candidates will be forced to prove their Presidential chops in the wrestling arena. Yes, all three candidates are on a fight card that also includes Bozo Destructo and Sawborg Destructo in an all out tag team match vs. GWAR. It’s rumored that GWAR may put hometown snowboarders and Down With People shredders Austin Smith and Curtis Ciszek on the fight card as well.

SEATTLE, Wash. (September 8th, 2008) – After a solid four years in the Northeast, Joel Brinson has made the cross country move to the great Northwest and “is fully stoked about the opportunity to join the talented design crew at K2 Snowboarding.” Joel brings a distinct design aesthetic and vast knowledge of the industry to K2 that complements the artistic stylings of K2 designers, Cory Little, Jessie Federico and Jered Garrison.

“Joel brings a broad range of industry experience and passion for design that make him a great addition to K2” said Cory Little, K2 Image and Design Manager. “He is a very respected designer with a super positive attitude and outlook; and we are excited to welcome him to our family. Joel leaves the East Coast and Rome Snowboards where he has been heading up board graphic art direction and developing brand identity. In addition to board graphics, he has developed motion graphics and illustrations for a variety of clients and created album art, apparel, skateboard graphics and video installations throughout his career. He originally hails from Florida, attended Florida State University and completed a design program in London.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. The event, broadcasted Sunday night from the Nokia Theatre on ESPN, gathered the top celebrities from sports and entertainment to commemorate the past year in sports by recognizing major sports achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances.

Legendary. One word with immense meaning and the only word to properly describe Mt. Baker this past week during Kamp K2. Although I’m sure you’ve heard the term associated with Baker before, experiencing everything that I did the past four days has placed Baker and K2 for that matter forever on a higher podium. Imagine this: Private access at Mt. Baker for three glorious days, camping in a RV with a fleet of others lined across the parking lot in front of the lodge, and non-stop drinking and entertainment provided by K2. It sounded great to me on paper but others were semi difficult to convince.

I met Pancho to pick up the RV outside of Seattle and the first words out of his mouth were “I don’t know how I got talked into this.” It was after all April 7th and the possibility of prime snow this time of year is often slim.

Hide your wives and children because the 8th Annual Last Call with Eastern Boarder at Loon Mountain, NH is back in town! Wednesday, March 26th will be another day to remember. Massholes, flying NH dirts, plus a sprinkling of VT, Maine and random homeless shreds will make the pilgrimage to one of the most laid back huck fests ever to assemble on one trail. Riders are subjected to all the elements that make for a good spectator event too. This year the best overall riders will have to toss out their bag of tricks on a giant hip, a multi feature rail and box setup, a 1/4 pipe, bank, hip, thingama jib, and whatever else we come up with!

So i have been in the market for a new big stick for a while, and have the chance to pick up a 168 gyrator at half the retail price but ned to tell the dude if i want it by tomorrow . . .

Anyone ridden one, heard lots about the 162 most of it good and rating it above the banana tech that lib uses, but nothing about the 68.

A friend of mine was trying to bid on this snowboard on eBay but did not win. We've been trying to figure out which K2 women's snowboard this is because on the eBay auction the seller on listed the description of it as 'K2 woman's snowboard 143 CM' and did not list which one it is. Help with this would be greatly appreciated.
