My Bio- Short Biography
Mt Bachelor in Bend, Oregon, celebrates its 50th anniversary this 08/09 season. The 6th largest resort in America with over 3600 acres of lift accessible terrain and an additional 1500+ acres on the backside for expert riders. The vertical drop, measured from summit to the bottom of the NW Express chair, is 3,365 feet. Every type of terrain, natural to manmade, is available for every level of snow rider. Our Olympic sized Superpipe has hosted events such as the Chevy Snowboard Grand Prix and the FIS World Cup. We boast 4 terrain parks from the most advanced Air Chamber at nearly a mile long, to the Slopestyle Arena located under our busiest chair – Pine Marten – where you’ll find tables, rails/boxes and step ups & step downs that range from 50-65 feet. Our iPark geared toward the intermediates, but is a blast for all abilities; and the Sunshine Park has features and flows to get beginners accustomed to park riding. Check it out!! www.mtbachelor.com
