growing up in the west coast of canada i was on the snow hills at a young age. first skiing was my thing, and throwing daffy's and other nonsense was all that I dreamt about. Then one fateful day, I saw a commerical for Craig Kelly's Board with the World video. I was hooked, my brother and I rented some crappy decks and (painfully) taught ourselves how to get wicked on the shred. over the years shredding had become less of a hobby and more of a part of my life. I have never looked at the mountains the same, and every handrail in the city has me thinking of the possibilities. just like I did when i started, I still get the jitters in my gut on the first day of the season. As always the jitters lead to an ear to ear smile as soon as I strap in.
